Lanie:
I haven't had a PSA test for colon problems.
The two top causes I thought might be responsible for frequent urination was diabetes and age, both of which I have.
The last colonoscopy I had was at about after 70 over 5 years ago when the doctor said that would be my last one.
I'm guessing now that I can ask my general pratitioneer about those issues.
One issue I narrowly escaped about a year ago was skin cancer.
My chiopractor asked me, "What is that on your forehead?" It was a place my earlier skin doctor had taken off abuot 3 years earlier and I figured it was just that.
I had never gotten a new skin doctor when she retired, 3 years earlier, because I couldn 't decide which one to get. When the chio said that I got moving.
I found a skin doctor and it was cancer. They were able to get it, but they had to go a little bit deep.
Now I don't go out in the middle to the day unless I have to. When I do go out, skin lotion on nose and forehead, and wide brim hat that's thick enough to keep the sun off my head.
So thanks for the reminder about PSA. It was a comment like that which got me going to the skin doctor and saved my life.
