blood sugar medicine

My blood sugar meter has not been workinig for a month or more because it says E-9. Called my druggist who issues all of that and she says cut it on and off and while she's talking I notice a little battery and she says we have those batteries. So I got two of those and it worked.

My first three blood sugar readings were 131, 115 and 129. My general practitioneer doctor gave me a blood sugar medicine in 2022 called Pioglitazone HCL 30 Mg. tablets. Some of my high numbers before that were 193, 184, 178 and 205. When I showed him the lower numbers on the new medicine, he said in effect those were good numbers and that we were not going for world records, we were just trying for more managable numbers.

When I would try to lower my numbers with diets, my blood sugar would get too low and I could barely walk out of the kitchen without a shaking attack, which is, low blood sugar. For me, what works best is a blood sugar tablet. I would urge others to see their doctor. It was also given to me medicine for high blood pressure and high colesterol.

My father died of high blood pressure at age 62 beause they had no effective blood pressure medicine.The only reason I've lived longer than he did was because now they do have high blood pressure medicine. I would take advange of those advances in medicine. It all starts with going to your doctor. I use a walk-in clinic and it works for me. You just walk in and take care of yourself.

I agree Astroman those pre-diabetes medicine numbers were getting pretty high. Again, I would encourage others to see their doctor about what he or she thinks of their blood sugar numbers. Today's medicines are better than 25-50 years ago.

I don't eat sugar originally because of an ear condition (hyperacusis, sounds are too loud) but I also don't eat sugar noiw because of diabetes. It's pretty easy to get off of because of how much harm it does. I also don't eat sugar because of dental.

Exercise also helps with diabetes. Also, it's hard for me to diet for I take a psyche med called mirtazapine which is an anti-psychotic for depresssion and it drives up my appetite that no diet can stop.

I used to advocate brush after meals, floss on a regular basis and mouith wash twice a week is a guess. However, two months ago a couple of upper teeth cracked. I got to thinking, I'm wondering if it was the mouthwash that might dry them out? Since then I do not use mouthwash much, and when I do I don't leave it on for hours as the bottle suggest but rinse it out with water after 30 seconds or so.

I now rinse mostly with toothpaste since the tupe says, "Floride kills germs that cause cavities." So I don't need a mouthwash, maybe. I know my teeth are in trouble when there's a sore place between two of my teeth, at which time I brush, floss and mouthwash and wash it out about 30 seconds later if its storebought mouthwash.
