You guys seem to have all the answers so here goes........
I was a diabetic in denial for about ten years. For about the same amount of time I was always hot. In the winter I was the only person who could only wear a t-shirt. We live near Toronto Canada so I am talking cold winters. Couldnt bear to wear a sweater -- too hot. I used to have the ceiling fan running all night in the bedroom - winter and summer plus a little table fan on the night table. Hubby always called me his "red hot momma". Always kept the temperature in the house around 69. My friends always complained our house was cold!!!! Since I have got my sugars under control and have been taking Metformin - I never seem to feel hot!! In fact I feel a bit chilled (which I should be cos its -17 outside). Is there a connection?
Secondly, I have been experiencing blurred vision for a couple of years. Also one eye seem to get bloodshot and itchy fairly often. In fact, one time I went to doctor who sent me to emergency and thus I linked up with an eye specialist. Since then, I have seen this eye doctor on an annual basis. I saw him in September and he says my eyes are fine except for calcium deposits (he then sent me to an endocronologist who is the chap who hooked me up with the diabetic clinic). Anyway this is my question...... On one of the posts I think I read that blurry vision could be a result of dehydration. Can you confirm this?
