How much insulin?

I'm trying to gather some research information and I'd be really grateful for any help. It's more of a type 1 than a type 2 question I suppose but can anyone tell me how much insulin they are currently using?

Number of units in total / per lb body weight / day.

Hiya fergusc...I use two types of insulin per day, NovoRapid (fast-acting) and Levemir (long-acting) as follows:
1. Levemir - 13units AM + 13units PM = 26units/day
2. NovoRapid - with meals (and big snacks and to "fix dose") at an insulin/carb ratio of 1:8, 1:12, 1:6 for breakfast, lunch, dinner, respectively. I average 15-20 units/day.

So, I guess that's a total average of about 40-55 units of insulin per day. I weigh 110lbs. I'm not quite 5'4".
