My doc tried to send me to a nutrition class.... twice. But.... I can't afford it. With my insurance, it would cost $500, so I came here first, and then did a lot of reading on the web. I read up on carbs at those carb counter sites. The only carbs I eat often is sugar free toast, DREAMFIELDS pasta (which I read about here... YUM) (I hope that wet noodle was a dreamfields noodle LOL) and brown rice. As a treat, once in a while, I'll have ONE pancake with sugar free syrup, but that's just once in a while. And I've had to give up my sugar free candy as it messes with my numbers. Oh, and I do eat beans sometimes too. If my sugar is low, I'll have about 1/3 of an apple....
Yeah, I hate this too! But at least I'm trying.......
