Hi,
I have Mitral Valve Prolapse (this is something you're born with)... I rarely have any symptoms, but every once in a while I do: heart palpitations and some mild chest pain. I woke up last night during the night with the symptoms, and have had them on and off all day. This is not really uncommon with this condition (once it gets set off, it can act up for a while). My question is does diabetes or blood sugar levels affect this? I was wondering if low blood sugar could have caused it to start up because it happened at 3 AM. If anyone else here has this condition, please let me know.
Thanks,
Bear
