Hi there Mogz and Welcome to HealingWell,
Thank you for the kind introduction Carla! I suppose the burning question is "Is this Epilepsy?" and, as im sure your aware, nobody here can say YES or NO but this is solely opinion based and is not a replacement for proper medical advice.
If I am being honest (and I try to be as honest as I can) this does not sound like epilepsy. You have not mentioned any kind of blackout or loss of conciousness and there doesnt seem to be any muscle spasming (as found in Grand-Mal Epilepsy) The state that you describe seems to be a state that you enjoy (I.e. a good feeling - "its unreal i feel like theres nothing can get me down") but you flick between this and a hazy state (What most people describe as a brain-fog). Combining with the pupil dilation thing, hyper-sensitivity (causing abnormal sensations) and loss of memory, the first thing that comes to my mind is Anxiety. I could be wrong on that but thats what comes to mind for me.
Have you had any neurological tests done? (For example an EEG, Video EEG etc...) These are all designed to pick up epileptiform waves in the brain and (although not 100% accurate) can often tell someone whether what they are experiencing are seizures and whether they are epilepsy based or not. My advice on this one is to see your doctor and if needed, get a referral to a neurologist for testing.
