Topamax question

Has anyone gained weight just because they stopped taking Topamax? I lost weight when I started taking it, then the weight loss leveled off. I watch what I eat very carefully, and work out 7 days a week - I take 3 spinning classes, run 25-30 miles per week, use the elliptical and walk my dog 7 days a week. Logically I assume I shouldn't put weight back on but I wonder. Anyone have any insight?

Im glad you took my advice about posting up here. It might take a couple of days to get some responses as this is a much slower forum than depression but I promise you, there are people out there! lol

Hi,

I tried Topomax a number of years ago and I acually gained about 5 lbs. when I started and believe it or not I got kidney stones!Very painful sleeping on my back but I did not gain weight when I went off it I lost it, you might have that checked out.

Thanks - could I ask what dosage you were on and for how long when you got the kidney stones? Ouch.
