Am I epileptic? Or it could be something else?

So in march/2008 I had a seizure(I have never had one before in my life), at that time I was at the hospital because I have Crohns disease and I was really sick, taking a lot of IV meds such as prednisone, ciprofloxaxine, tramadol and morphine for pain and I had started a new med which was pretty invasive to my immune system, anyway the Dr said I was epileptic, because my EEG was kind of altered, but I do not buy it, So I started taking Topamax, my others EEG after that were normal and I stoped Topamax, so in Dec/2008 I was in the hospital again and I was taking all these meds that I know can reduce my convulsive threshold, and I had a seizure right after took an IV tramadol dosage, the Dr insists that I am epileptic. But I do not know, I am back to Topamax, although I take a very small dosage, these were the only two seizures I ever had and they happend in kind of abnormals situations.
What do you think about?

hi there. i had my first seizure ever in Dec 2008 and i was taking a lot of tramadol. no one seems to be able to confirm that it was this pain medication. not my doctors or neurologists but i have been reading a lot about this on line. so, personally, i believed it was the medication considering i was 36 at the time and had never had a seizure before. i just had my second seizure about a month ago and i have not be taking tramadol. some think it could still be due to tramadol from the past. i have no idea what to believe. reading your post makes me think though that once again, it could be the tramadol as it is known to cause seizures. i wonder why your doctor didn't mention that. but hey, i am very uneducated in this whole seizure field and still have no idea why i have had two in my life time.
