You might want to get a second opinion from another neurologist, and make sure he reviews your b/f's historical medical records. For info on non-epileptic seizures, check this link:

I would take a list of questions in to the doc the next time you go and ask him how he came to the conclusion that his patient is having non-epileptic seizures after all this time. But stay calm, you need answers from this guy. I had a doctor essentially make the same presumption when I asked for a second opinion after my first grand mal, and I clearly had an EEG with evidence of seizure activity.
