pseudo seizures

My nephew's girlfriend was diagnosed with "pseudo seizures" she was 24 years old pregnant in her 9th month and DIED ON FEB 15 2011 of course the baby died inside her.

The autopsy is not complete yet but obviously there was something wrong she had seizures every day and the doctors acted like she was crazy and not having them. My sister would help this girl during her seizures and what she told me they definetly indicated that the problem was a physical one.

I am a controlled epeliptic for years and now 72 and gratefully last seizure was 2003.

don't take for granted that the doctor's know it all because they don't!

Hi my name is Melony, my husband has around 100/200 seizures aday all we have been told is they are non-epileptic seizures but an ambulance man once saw him having a seizure and he said it was a pseudo seizure, he has had an MRI and EEg done they came back fine, he also had a greater / lesser opictal nerve block done on March 27th 2009 and has been having these seizures since, just wondering if there is any advice / suggestions if anyone else has/is going through the same type of thing
