Okay, this is something I have not shared with anyone over fear of being labeled insane, but I just recently started suspecting this is seizure related and would like to see if anyone else experiences this or have heard about it.
Basically, every now and then this...feeling, overcomes my body. I can't really remember well what I think is happening but it is not real, this...event, that I am imagining, is not happening in real life, but I feel something weird and react to it like, hold my breath or feel frightened or get weird shivers all over my body. It takes a few seconds for me to remember this is "one of those not real things", after which i just focus and shake my head until I feel normal again.
This seems to be random, but certain things seem to trigger it very easy, like stepping into a puddle of water and getting my socks all wet. Makes no sense to me, but it's true.
Recently I read it is possible for some people with epilepsy to sense, hear or see things that are not really happening. I am epileptic, and I am now wondering if these things I have been kind of dismissing for years are some sort of seizures, which might mean I have more of them than I have imagined. I am also not ruling out the fact that I am just crazy.
