First off I would like to say hello and I hope to be able to add something here.

Most of my friends know not to take me to an ER unless I have been injured as a result of seizure. On the few occasions I've been to the ER my time to recover is more than 3 times what is normal for me. When I say recover I mean the headache and bodyaches are gone, usually 24-36hrs for me.

Does anybody else experience this.

I have been seizure free for nearly 2 yrs now, before that I was having one an average of once a week.

BTW, my epilepsy is the result of surgery for an anurism next to my olfactory nerve. Considering the alternative seizures are a small price to pay.

I have to say I am not sure. I was only hospitalized one time and my recovery time overall was about 2 weeks. That was my first tonic clonic seizure during the daytime. So I voted not sure. Hopefully I will not have that experience again. I hope you are doing well. Take care, Tracy
