Okay, so now Kimmy is classified as other health impaired at school. Which means she has an IEP along with the 504. You may ask why did it take so long, but...she hasn't been in school hardly this year. Anyway I didn't know what to ask for. So that leads to this question. What sould I ask for, for her?
She isn't back in school, but I want to be positive and looking ahead for her. She already doesn't use stairs at school. They have a nurse on premises when she's there (because she has an order for diastat). Should I let them know if she's not feeling well around her cycle I may keep her home?
Is it just me, or does she do better at home-and is that because she doesn't have a panic attack over every little thing, or is it that she does eat small meals several times a day and doesn't get to feeling tired. Her blood sugar has never been low at the ER but I think if she feels tired she has more-is that so. Should I ask that she be allowed to snack or drink some juice?
What do you guys suggest. Is there anything to help her that I'm not thinking of asking for? I was thinking, she doesn't carry around a million books at home. Perhaps she should have a set of books at home so she doesn't have to carry about 50 pounds around all day. The lockers are all over and having one doesn't seem to help. Am I being silly? Help me know what to do guy. You're always great.
