new type of seizure.. strange

 i have a history of having complex partials, and grand mal seizures.. not ever really controlled by meds. recently i have moved back in with my parents because my seizures increased due to stress from living on my own. well, this past week while falling asleep i started having strange seizures.. ill be just about to fall asleep when the left side of my body starts to convulse like in in a grand mal.. but this is the strangest part. im still "awake" i can hear myself making grunting noises and i can see my body. i cant talk while in these, and my right side is basically paralyzed. i tried calling my neuro, but he never seems to be in. has anyone every seen or heard of these?

thanks tiffanie. its been a hard road for me as well. ive only met one other person who has epilespy and she hasnt had a seizure since she was 4. i wasnt able to talk about it with anyone in fear that they might reject me as a friend in high school... the only people i could turn to was my family especially my younger sister liz. shes done so much research, and has more knowledge than anyone i have talked to which helps me a lot.

most of my seizures occure while im sleeping, or about to fall asleep. usually those are grand mal.. during the day though i have other types. ive learned to live with it though.. and im no longer afraid to tell people. people i tell usually dont understand but are cool with it.
