I Hit my HEAD from a seizure i Need ADVICE!

confused  okay So heres the DEAL Tonight i had a 30 secound seizure on my kitchen floor which was sadly a tiled one and i ended up smacking the right side of my head a couple times when is it a time to call for help if the pain hasnt resided? i took tylonal , i took a lie down and it still wont go away the pain i mean still wont go away anyway not to mention my eyes sting since it happened

and im just the type that worries alot -.-

my hubby has seziures too...you might have given yourself a slight concussion. just to be on the safe side go get checked...better safe than sorry right?

True sadly my mom doesnt believe in concussions >.< shes gone till sunday for work and my sisters say "oh sleep it off " dude i already tried that! if it didnt work then it wont work now :(

I had a concussion more times than I can remember. The best thing to do is go to a docter. (p.s. I'm 15 so I don't know about a lot.)

Kateh, you need to be seen by a doctor, if it is a concussion, sleeping is NOT good for you.. How are you doing?

If you hit your head and have any type of funny feeling or people around you notice you acting abnormal.  Stumbling, asking questions repeatedly, pupils look odd...you need to go to the doctor/ER immediately.  You have a concussion.  They can be very serious.  "Sleeping it off" is the last thing you should do.  You might not wake up.  A concussion is a bruise on your braing and it can start to swell.  You need to be kept awake and see a doctor.  Have you ever thought of wearing a helmet?  I have, after many seizures on the tiled kitchen floor, driveway, and seizing and falling down the basement stairs purchased a hockey helmet that is multiple impact and concussion rated.  It has saved my head from injury on multiple times now.  It may not be a fashion statement, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.  LOL

Your headache may be partly from the seizure.  I once had a seizure in the bathroom and hit my head on the toilet on the way down.  I have to tell you that my head has never hurt so bad in my life, but I did the same thing.  Just take some tylonal and try to get some sleep, if the headache persists talk to a doctor.  But in my experience the pain went away after getting some sleep.  Good luck and I hope all is well.

i have had my frist sezurie i am 30 i am really confused and didnt even know it happened then the next night had another one and hit my face on the side of my bed pretty bad to the point that my face is pretty badlly bruised why is this now happening to me

Ya, maybe if it is bad, the doctor's is the best bet. But i have fallen a few times, and i burise easy, and it sucks..but hey, that's life.....we can't really do anything about that. Hope you feel ok :)

You might wanna go check yourself out at hospital. I had a seizure on thursday while waiting for the bus, and fell like a sack of spuds on the floor. i have the black eye and cut to prove it. OOOuuuch.
