Hi! Could anyone please tell me if you can have a seizure disorder that affects your vision all day? Or just during the seizure? I have sparkles that I see pretty much all day. I also see trails of lights and afterimages. (also known as palinopsia) These sparkles I see move around very fast and are either white or silver in color. I see them better against plain backgrounds. Does this sound seizure related?

My daughter sees colors which represented partial seizures, mainly purple and blue sometimes rainbows.

I'm 22 and I have Focal Seizures. Very often I get what my doctor calls "visual sparks" in my vision. Usually green, blue, purple, or white. I've had seizures since I was 16-months old. I've been getting the sparks since I was 9. I also get them with migraines.

PennStateKitty.....you said you have focal seizures. Are the sparks that you see right before the actual seizure or is it just that. Meaning, is just the sparks what you experience?
