Bright flashing lights and fog

I guess I had another seizure the other night.  The first thing I was aware of was sitting straight up in bed with flashing colored lights followed by a fog passing in front of me.  This lasted for about five minutes.  I know it sounds crazy.  Has this ever happened to anyone?

Yep, my docter calls it a focal seizure. I've had the exact same thing happen... very weird feeling isn't it?

Well, it's good to know I'm not crazy.  I hesitate a lot to tell my daughters and friends some of th things that happen to me because I'm afraid they will think I have lost my mind.

I used to see the fog whe I was little. I used to think they were ghosts (I was very little) My parents dragged me to a psychologist thinking I was a bit cookoo. Years later I was diagnosed with epilepsy. It's kind of funny now....

It is reassuring to know that someone else has seen the fog.  While I was frightened when it happened, I have tried to find humor in it when I tell someone.  Such as I missed the era of the psychedelic drugs.

I have never seen fog,But before I have a seizure,I always have a weird feeling that I'm lost and my family can't find me or I have a feeling that I'm dying and my family don't know where I am to help me.What is the deal to that?It is a real scary feeling.It's like I'm trying to call out to my family but the word's won't come out.And what is focal seizure's.I have granmal seizures.I hope I spelled that right.
