having seizures after RTL

 2005 I had a RTL after having seizures for 19 years.  I now have a 2 year old and 3 year old.  I have recently started having seizures again.  I don't know if it is stress related or what.  I have them before my period most of the time.  I have had 3 this week but i am really stessed from college and Christmas shopping.  I'm afraid they are back for good.  Is a second surgery a option? Also, for anyone that has had more than 1 surgery, did the second 1 work and did you have to have all the test again?

I had a second surgery because my first surgery didn't work. Right temporal lobectomy as well. The difference for me was my first surgery made them worse and it happened almost immediately. I had my first surgery in May 2007 and my second surgery in Dec 2007.

I had the surgeries when I was 37 and I'm now 40. My second resection was MORE THAN WORTH IT! My seizures are so much better. I used to have up to five CP a week. I now have one SP every 3 or 4 mos. I'm allowed to drive again.

I did another VEEG and they decided a second surgery was an option. I was told I could have a pair of surgeries or simply go to a resection. I chose to have the pair. I went in on Dec 10, a grid was placed and we did another VEEG. On Dec 17, they removed the grid and did a second resection.

It's been years since I've written on a forum board. It's highly possible this will come across as stiff or odd somehow. If so, I'm sorry. I am more than open to questions and I swear I won't bite.
