Hello everyone. Asa child i was diagosed w/ Petit seizures and nothing came of it. the heavy eye blinking and sometimes the starring. Last year while on treatment for Hep C  I started having heavy  twitching which a neurologist diagnosed as benign myoclonic jerking. My whole body twictched and it felt like painful electrical jolts shocking me. Dozens a day often. I wore an eeg on my head for 3 days and had them during that time. He said no seizures were seen on my 3 days eeg scans. He said it wasn't due my treatment meds but to let him know how things were after I stoppped. I'm done almost 1 year and they've back. I can't stop the movment and like I said, it hurts. Like someone is shocking me w/ the live end of a plugged in cord. I am going to call next week for another appt. My uncle  had seizures but passed away as a child. I don't know many details. My brother had grand-mal until his late teens. Are these benign myocolonic jerks actually Epilespy? I'm very confused by all this. The Dr. said at the time if they continued he could put me on meds. Has anyone had this expereince? It's so hard to describe. Thank you for your time.
