I saw smoke yesterday and there wasn't any!

I have temporal lobe epilepsy. My seizures don't usually involves visual hallucinations. Well, they do sometimes, but it's more along the lines of things looking unreal.

Yesterday, I opened the front door and I saw smoke, as if someone had tossed a burning cigarette butt, but maybe a little more, coming from under the door jamb. I went outside to put it out. My neighbor smokes and I figured she had tossed it there (even though she never, ever does that).

Well, there was no cigarette butt. There was nothing. The smoke came from nowhere.

Was this a new kind of seizure for me? Am I going crazy?

WOw am I relieved, I would always smell things that were not there untill recently I heard voices and littery thought I was going mad, It pained me to tell my Nuro because I thouoght he would lock me up in a padded cell and tell me I am nuts, but to my surpirse he said that is normal to sometimes hear or see things that are not therre before a seizure, boy was I relieved, I still havent told my family just beacuse I dont want to sound like a whole bunch of crazie. they know I have them and thats all I want them to know, PLeople can be so judgemental sometimes even family.
