migraine headaches mixed with a seizure

Hi i am Cheyenne it has been a while sense i have posted anything,had another scary occurance the other night all day I had the worse migraine and towards the evening on my way to see my daughter,my boy-friend had to rush me to the hospital it was very scary,I know I need a brain scan but do to being cut from my insurance this has not been done cry so I sit in fear alot does any one know what this is like?

im new to this. im not even sure if i have epilepsy yet as im waiting for an mri. i do have migranes/ headaches nearly all the time and my seizures are nearly four days apart. i also have a really low mood because of these seizures. Ur Not Alone.
Could you maybe sensitive to light? this can cause seizures and migranes. Do you work in a place with lumineres and computers?

Thank you for your reply,I think stress causes my migrains and seizures too and with having 2 teen agers who one is easy but my daughter is a handful causes a lot of ftress:(

 Hi there, I also have grand mal epilepsy and migraines.  We are not the docs here, but from what I have learned in the last 20 years of dealing with this combo is the migraines can be aggravated by stress but the seizures  are not always cause and effect. Seizures occur when your brain literally short circuits, something stress can not do. When you get the mri it will rule out what you do not have, but with epilepsy many people never get the "you have this because".  Majority of people go on never really knowing why their seizures occur.  The usual explanation is previous head trauma.  That is my diagnosis.  My first grand mal was six months after a boating accident and I had a concussion. Repeated eeg and mri tests have never shown why the seizures occur, so undiagnosed epilepsy seems to be the popular default. When you do see your doctor let him know of any head injuries you have ever had, no matter when they occurred.  Best of luck
