Neuropsych test in epilepsy unit

Is it normal procedure in the epilepsy unit to have the test performed on the last morning of your stay after the meds have been lowered for 3 days. I was given my normal dose that morning about 1 hour prior to the test. I would think it would be better to do the test on the first day of the stay.

I had my first neuropsych testing done half way through my week of EEG monitoring while on a reduced dose of meds.I had the same testing prior to my first surgery and one year after surgery which was in 2000.I had a second surgery in 2006.I had to have the neuropsych test a year later.
