Anyone had Todd's Paralysis?

I'm trying to find out a little more about different experiences people have had with this.  My new doctors and I suspect that I've been having simple partial seizures since I was a child (I'm 23 now), but I haven't seen a neuro yet.  I had several unexplained episodes of leg paralysis when I was younger that I was told were caused by stress, though I never saw a neuro about it. But my paralysis was always just both of my legs.  Todd's paralysis is usually on one side of the body, but has anyone ever had it affect just the legs?  It seemed to stop happening as I got older, but I have had a few times where it wasn't complete paralysis, just severe weakness.  I've also had paralysis of my left arm as an adult, but that was a few years ago.  I don't remember exactly what it felt like as far as having an aura, but I could feel the paralysis coming on and I would get off my feet so I didn't fall when it hit.  But after they told me it was all in my head I tried ignoring the warning and fighting it, but then I would collapse anyway!  And now it seems I'm having partial seizures in my left arm every day.  It has been shaking and twitching uncontrollably at least a few times every day for over a month!  I've never had this before and it is what finally got my doctors' attention.  I still haven't heard when my neuro appointment is though.  I know it's not a nervous or panic thing, because I am a happy, confident young woman.  I have plenty of attention and I don't want for anything (execpt the truth about what's happening to me)... I know I'm not just doing this on purpose!

I just came across your post and even though you posted it years ago I thought I'd try my luck anyway. A friend of mine is currently suffering from todd's paralysis after a seizure. It is affecting both his legs just like it affected you. Howver, what is worrisome is the fact that it has been almost a week while most cases end after 48 hours. Do you know if this is cause for concern? He is a bit stubborn and is refusing to see a doctor at the moment. What kind of medication or excercises did the doctor advice you? Is there something we can do to help him recover?
