Hi am new to this site so hi to everyone.
i am 19 and going to uni in 3 weeks, i am really worried about telling my new student friends about my eplilerpsy as although i can drink to a certin extent i cannot drink and stay up late like normal teenagers i am so worried i will have a fit in front of strnagers or in a club with people i dont know as my friends usually look after me. has anyone else had this problem or is going to uni?

We have to continue to do more to educate the public about epilepsy or seizure conditions because we're still viewed as outcasts or bad people (possessed by satin).

 

The general public are basically SCARED of us, if we have a seizure in front of them, they will be embarrassed and won't know what to do.
