New med(Klonopin)

My neuro is adding a new med.  He added Klonopin on Thursday.  Is anyone taking this med?  What can I expect from it?  Any input would be appreciated.  Thanks!

Maybe I'll be able to gain back some of the 20 pounds I've lost from the Topamax. hehehe. Yeah, I'm pretty tired. I feel like I'm drunk. But, that might also be due to the fact that my neuro upped my dosage of topamax by 100mg's on the same day. lol Boy do I feel stupid right now. I feel like I'm stumbling around the house saying "duh" all day long. Can't think of words and feel drunk. But, I imagine just like all other side effects from new meds and upped dosages, they'll pass with time. Thanks for the support!!

Sorry i havnen't been posting lately. I've been having quite a few seizures. Plus, my wife's family and I have been dealing with trying to rebuild two of their family's houses down in Mississippi after Katrina severely damaged them. Trying to do this from Wisconsin has definately been a challenge. We are planning a trip down shortly after Christmas. This will be my first trip in a long time. my seizure control is not the best. It's about 1200 miles. I'm a little apprehensive. But, it's for my wife and her family. My father-in-law and brother-in-law went down right after the hurricane went through. They said it was absolutely unimaginable. Many of the places and landmarks from my wife's childhood are completely gone. So, I'm hoping I can stay seizure free during this trying time for her. Wish me luck and I promise to keep you posted as much as I can
