pillows

I was curious about pillows, I've heard that they can be dangerous for a child with nocturnal seizures and I've heard that there are pillows that you can buy so that they can't suffocate if they land face down during a seizure during the night. Has anyone heard of these? I took Scott's pillow away after his breakthrough seizure two weeks ago and he's not happy with me.

He is on Trileptal, he had 2 seizures 2 yrs ago (tomorrow is the 2yr anniversary of the 1st, then a 2nd a month later) 2yrs seizure free then a breakthrough last week, I am hoping he just outgrew the dosage of the meds (fingers crossed) and that we will regain control. His seizures are due to a brain injury at birth, we knew he would have a low seizure threshold but after 8yrs we figured we beet it...then he had his first, doctor said not an unusual age because of hormonal changes. So, becuase they are symptomatic I'm not fantasizing about them going away, but would be content with control. Actually, would just be content with him being able to live a normal life. He has partials with secondary generalization, he has them within the first out of sleep or just prior to waking up.

I've read your story a number of times and it brings me to tears every time, thank you so much for sticking around to help and educate others about the safety risks.
