It's called clobazam and is a bezodiazipine.
Here one pill is 10 mg, (I take two) In my caseI found it had remarkably little adverse effect, since it is very slow acting.
Obviously this is not medical advice and tour experience may differ, but once I was on it for a while, it's barely noticeable except making it slightly easier to fall asleep. So no, I didn't find it makes me significantly groggy during the day. Like many epilepsy drugs, the doctor says it almost inevitably slows me down, but I hardly notice.
Along with another drug, it FINALLY got my seizures under control. Just a warning: In my case it proved very dangerous to come off of. Once I tried, but they attempted to do it over maybe three weeks, where I think probably 3-6 months is more like it. I'll probably have to take it for the rest of my life. Once again, this is not medical advice!!
By the way, I'm horrified that they sell onfi at such a high price. NOT fair to you. I hope the generic is WAY cheaper (Thank God for public health care!)
