Would you like to be a Mod?

Any of you interested in being the Moderator of this Forum? 

Hey Twiggy.. basically you'd come here and do what you've been doing.. :) you'll just have the ability to edit/delete posts from spammers.. I volunteered as MOD here when the previous MOD left.. but I do not suffer from Epilepsy... I do have a family member who has it, but I feel like I haven't been able to bring anything to the forum with my experiences as they are limited.. I think you'd do really well.. if you are serious about being a MOD, email Peter Waite at [email protected] and tell him you are interested. I will do the same..

Hey there.. I actually love being a MOD.. I am very active in the Arthritis forum, as I am a sufferer.. I just feel that I don't give Epilepsy the attention it deserves, I'll gladly stay on here though for as long as it takes. :)

I have a cousin that has epilepsy.. but he is very tight-lipped about it.. another reason why I came here, to try and find some insight to him and what he is going through, but without him opening up, it is hard for me to try and say what symptoms he has.. know what I mean? He's had various tests run and is taking different meds, but he won't talk to me about it.. says it is his cross to bear and leaves it at that.. is very frustrating, 'cause I want to help him.. as does everyone else in the family.. but he is stubborn!

My brother-in-law has actually been treated the past 2 years for epilepsy as well.. however, just recently they think he may have Meniere's Disease.. so frustrating.. :(

Hi ducky i so know know what your mean, i too have so many things going on with me too, it;s weird. Well good luck to you what ever u decide. Let me know how you are doing ok and if u really want to stay on Mod then go for it im sure you will be able to find your place. Twiggy2 If you change your mind down the road i still may be interested nice to meet you i will keep u posted as to how im doing to ok. ::))

Hey Twiggy2... I have told Peter that I think we need to find someone that can be the full-time MOD for here. As I feel I don't contribute like I should. I am unfamiliar with meds and the different types of seizures, so I feel lost a lot of times when I read posts. He agrees that we should have someone else on a permanent basis. I told him I would stick around here for a while to assist whoever is interested and once they feel confident, I would quietly slip out.. :)
