New Update. I also have some questions about my meds

The specialisht daignosed me as having classic 6/12 complex partial siezures(or something like that). From my eeg the spcialist said I only have occasional sharp waves originating from my temporal lobe.

I was prescribed to take only 400mg of carbamazepine per day..

This is a low dose, But I have not had any complex partial seizures for two months which looks promising.. I think i almost oocassionally start to feel the onset of my seizure, but then it stops...  Even though Im on a low dose I have been more easily irritated, and having some mood swings...

has anyone have any experience on this or any feedback would be great..

I too take Tegretol. I take 800mg morning and night. I also suffer the same irritability you talk about but not all the time. It comes and goes. I never thought about it being the meds though. Thanks for your insight on that. If you start to feel the onset of a seizure but it stops, then it sounds like your meds are doing JUST enough to keep you above water. Perhaps talking about increasig your dose with your doctor would be a good idea.
