OK, so we just had an earthquake here in SoCal-the epicenter was less than 75 miles from me. First of all, I still haven't gotten used to the earthquakes here, and I've been out here almost 8 years. At least with tornadoes and hurricanes, you get some sort of warning!
Anyway, ever since the quake (about 30 minutes ago), I totally feel like my equilibrium is off. Unless you've ever experienced an earthquake, it's hard to describe-other than a constant swaying motion that just won't stop. This doesn't mix well with a person with fibro who has been dealing with neuro issues, anyway.
But, I'm sure that it's really not that big of a deal-especially to y'all who have been in SoCal for a long time. It was only a 5.6-5.8 on the Richter scale, but it still is a creepy feeling.
Anyway, I just wanted to comment on how much I hate earthquakes! LOL Sorry, I realize this thread isn't exactly fibro related, but the quake still freaked me out.
