Is EBV Mono?

I've seen alot about EBV, but I don't know what it is. I know what mono is, because I had that. Is it the same as mono?

Chelle, the Epstein Barr virus causes mono. Here is a thread about it from the Mayo Clinic.

Oh.. well that's interesting. And some doctors/scientist think this MAY cause fibro?

Ok so if I had mono, then if I were tested for EBV it should come back positive? And EBV might be an auto immune disorder?
