Good Morning Everyone,
Well it's good right now but of course it's only 9:56 am and 75 degree's so far. Yep gearing up for a hot one today. The surrounding forcast calls for 92 but where I am we hit up to 5 degree's higher then that. And unfortunately the humidity is climbing too. And Saturday it's supposed to be more of the same and my brother is taking me and my mom out to my daughters for an overnighter and she has no A/C and only 2 fans in her 2,200 square foot home!! omg I can see it now all of us sitting around sweating our butts off and me feeling sick. I have a real problem in the higher heat. I swell up like a ballon if I don't have a cold room to hang out in and I can get pretty sick with the diabetes meds I am on. I am worried about the edema problem I have been having this summer in my legs more then anything. The grandkids are all hyped up about this visit though and I cant bail on them now. I will have to make room in the back of Randy's SUV for a few extra fans at least or there is no way.
I have told my daughter for 2 years in a row now that they have got to get some A/C out there and she says her hubby doesnt think it's needed. Helloooooooo he is always out to sea this time of year so he isnt living in this mess. It's not fair to Barb's kids if nothing else to have to try and sleep in a sweltering house and she has that sick baby that should be comfortable as well. If it's because her hubby is too darn cheap to buy her a couple units I will buy them myself so next year they can be cool. As of right now there isnt a A/C unit to be had in town and not much chance of finding a fan either. So how do the rest of you handle the heat? Does it make any of you as sick as I get? I can take it to about 75 then after that no way. And when we get weeks in the high 90's or into the 100's I dont usually even leave the house. I already know when I wake up if it is going to be a cooker cause my nose is completely stuffed up and I have a headache.
Then the first part of next week our weather will drop into the 60's and rain!!! I think it's the constant up's and down's that really make ppl sick. I hope everyone has a good day and is staying as cool as possible.
Soft Hug's,
Karen
