I heard a report today that I want to pass on to all of you. There was a study done and written about in JAMA (Journal of the American Medical Association). It said to be sure the herbal medication that you take is made in the United States. It is somewhat regulated... more so than what the World Health Organization does. In the study, some of the herbals that were made in foreign countries, especially Thailand, had arsenic, mercury, and lead in them! It went on to say that arsenic can cause cancer, and the mercury and lead can cause kidney and brain problems. So, those of you that take these things, be sure they are made here in the US.

I heard about that too. It was mostly the Ayervadic medicines
