I just wanted to take this time to ask everyone to be praying for all the people in the path of the hurricane. I live in central Louisiana (Rapides Parish). They are expecting us to be out of electricity for a couple weeks. I know there will be people worse off than me farther south, so please everyone, pray for us all.

Chelle, I started praying for everone a couple of days ago.  A lot can happen between now and when it hits land.  Just the slightest jog can make such a difference.  Stay safe and, if you should evacuate, don't hesitate.  You are in my prayers.

Prayers for all in the path of Gustav...and Hanna right behind him. I live on the east coast of Florida (West Palm Beach) and I have a feeling we will be in need of your prayers during this Hurricane season too...

This season is feeling so reminiscent of the 2004 & 2005 Hurricane seasons...they were so scary and exhausting.

Stay safe everyone & be smart.

My prayers go out to all of you out there is Fibro land that could see the effects of the hurricane.  May God keep and protect you where ever you may be.

My husband and I lost our home to Hurricane Francis in 2004, Labor Day weekend. Very scary to go through. It was awful-no power, on phones, no cell-phones, no water. Grocery stores that opened up were running on generators but only sold limited amounts of canned food, nothing fresh. UGH!
Six weeks later we were living in another state. It was numbing. It teaches you who your real friends are. Some were so caring and others...
we were friends with a couple who were SOOOO angry at us for leaving Florida, because they lost their "free" vacation spot. Go figure!



My heart and prayers and good thoughts go out to all. Please be safe and know there are people thinking of you. Stay safe.
