Guess what I just did? Go ahead, guess!
I just finished 30 minutes aerobics And I'm not falling down exhausted, legs burning! I mean, I'm tired, but it's a good tired. I feel normal!
Ok, it might be too early to really tell, maybe I'm having a good day, or whatever, but I think it's because of the malic acid. Last week I was doing 20 minutes, and my legs were burning the whole time, I really had to push myself to keep moving. Today I think I could have gone a little longer, but I didn't want to push it. I've been at 3 tablets since Saturday. Sunday I had a really bad day, my pain was higher than it had been in a long time. It was rainign that day, and I also didn't move at all. I drove 1/2 hour to town to go to a wedding shower where I sat for 3 hours, then drove back. Yesterday I did groceries, so another drive. My legs were sore adn achy during the driving, but that was all I had all day.
If you haven't tried the malic acid yet, I urge you to try it! I don't know if it really works that well, or it's a coincidence (the weather is cooler so I think that is helping me too), or Sherrine has us under a mass hysteria spell, but right now I'm not willing to mess with anything or do any changes. Except maybe go off my amitriptyline. I think it helped me with the facial pain, but it woudl be worth the experiment to see if it comes back without it. I'll mention it to my doctor when I see him again. I'd love to be just on supplements, with maybe something for breakthrough pain if I need it, a kind of safety net.
