My name is Corinne and I've had fibromyalgia for 7 years now. I'm 44 married, have 2 kids in college and one in highschool. I've been coming here to read the posts for a couple of months and thought it was time to introduce myself. :-)

Hi Corinne,

I am so happy that you decided to join in with the board. There are a wonderful group of members here (as you probably already know) who are so kind and compassionate. As some of us call it, this is our fingertip family. We all get along really well.

There is a wealth of information here on the forum. There is an intorductory thread and also a thread called fibro101 which is the second thread on the first page. I am sure you have probably looked at that already.

Pop in any time and post, we would love to hear more from you. I hope that your fibromyalgia is under control. I have been lucky for quite a while now, I have been feeling pretty good.

Hi Corinne and welcome. I'm glad you have been reading and decided to join us. Ask questions, share what helps you and vent when you can't take it anymore.

Hi, Corinne, and welcome to the fibromyalgia forum!  I'm so glad you joined in.  This is a good group of people with lots of great ideas to help you live a full and enjoyable life with fibro.  The bonus is that we REALLY do care about each other and have even made some good friendships here.  We do understand what it's like to live with fibro.

 

I'm glad you have been reading and hope you did read the Fibro 101 thread.  Lots of good info there.  Don't hesitate to ask questions.  We are here to help you.  Hope to hear more from you soon!

Hi Corrine,
I am rather new here too and I began just reading everyones posts for a while until I was more at ease. I think the best part about this site is the feeling that you aren't alone anymore. It really does make a difference when there are others that know exactly how you feel. Not one person judges you here and we are all here just to support one another. There is so much information and support here for you when you need it. Welcome from one newbie to another!
