Marlee,

 

My fog has been bad lately, so I am posting this now,(so I DONT forget), although it is only 8 30am Nov 10.  tongue    I know I'm not alone in saying....you wont be alone tomorrow at that hospital with Ken.  Just hope that everything will run smooth, and that by Wednesday both you and Ken will be in your own home, putting this medical crisis behind you.

Thanks guys I know my fibro family will be with me. Our youngest son and fiance will be there physically. I want this over with and Ken back home healthier than he is now.

 

I have plenty to do today to keep busy which is a good thing. I must say I'm feeling the stress all over my body this morning. I can tell Ken is nervous this morning too which causes me more stress worrying about him. It just needs to be done and over with. I hate waiting.

Waiting definitely is the worst part.  Ken will breeze through the procedure and you'll wonder why you were so stressed.  That's how it usually works.

 

You and Ken will be in my prayers for a quick recovery.  Your holidays should be great with Ken feeling good again and  your baby pup giving lots of kisses.

Marlee-

Think of it like the Verizon wireless commercial- when no matter what the person is going through- the HUGE group is there for you!!! It may not be physically but there is not one of us that will not be there in "thought" with both of you tomorrow and Wednesday.

Glad you have plenty to do, and try and take short rest periods today too, K?

I will be thinking of you, remember that we all support you through this difficult time. Like was said above, Ken will breeze through this and it will be over in no time. Then you will be able to relax. I wish for you a wonderful painfree day.

Marlee, I know this has been very stressful for you and Ken, but tomorrow will be the beginning of renewed energy for both of you. After you regroup from all this stress, of course. I'm glad you are going to have some family there w/ both of you. But remember we will all be here waiting to hear your good news and know that we are all w/ you in prayer. I had a friend say to me once - Let go, Let God! All we can do after picking the dr and prepping is, put it into His hands.

Marlee, I am sending many prayers your and Ken's way. This will soon be a part of your past and Ken will be healthy, as will you. I agree with GamJill and others, take small breaks whenever you can. You were a huge part of helping me get past a bad flare in July and I am returning your compassion with enormous gratitude. You share your heart with us and you can count on us to be there for your family.

Marlee, you know that you and Ken are both in my prayers. 

 

Back in the summner when I had the scare about my dh having lung cancer, you all helped me through it. 

 

This is the most wonderful bunch of caring people and we're all waiting to hear the good news from you.

 

Take care of yourself and it will all be over and in your past before you know it.

You girls are the best. Besides an hour and a half delay in surgery cause of an emergency everything went great. It only took an hour to put the pacemaker in. His heart rate is in the 70s now, big change from 30s and 40s. They had to keep him at a 30 degree incline last night to keep him from swelling so he didn't get much sleep but they put the bed down at 6 this morning so he will sleep all morning. They will let him come home about 3 this afternoon.

 

I was going to stay at a motel but he insisted that I come home and take care of the baby Krissy.

 

I hope I can find my way back to the cardiovascular center today, that hospital is huge. This little small town girl is not use to these huge medical centers. smilewinkgrin

 

I hurt this morning from sitting in hospital chairs all day yesterday but I slept pretty good last night.

 

One more hurdle behind us.

I am so happy that everything went well for Ken. Hopefully he will have a speedy recovery and things will be back to normal. Maybe even better as he will be feeling better.

Ken is going to feel like a "new person" - so happy to hear everything went well and he "even" booted you out of there to go take care of the new puppy!
