Ok my doctor called..get this

Last week I was told my ANA was 1:640.  So when I saw my doctor.. I asked her to run any test she could think of.  She called tonight and said all blood work is normal.  And for me to take 1000 grams(I think) of vitiman D.

I have had Fibro for 10 years. I was hospitalized 3 weeks ago for pain and dizziness.  ANA is high., dsDNA negative.   What is the Vitiman D all about??.. I know something should show up.. I have a lot going on..twitches, weakness, dizziness, aches, sleep anpea, tongue pain, balance problems, eye pain.. and the list goes on.

Going to see a rheumy tomorrow..something is not being tested. 

Had 3 MRI'S, BONES SCANS, EMG, ENVOKE POTIENTAL (2006).  

What test are missing??

I have a vitamin D deficiency too and take 1,800 iu daily.  It's good for your heart, too!

 

I do think you should find a doctor that you trust, though.  You have to have that "bond" in order to work well together.

"OK....no one is listening to me. I don't want to be ridiculous here "but really". If someone says they have beat this thing you would think someone would listen but it appears no one is. Fibro is no more than food intolerance and I had it for 20 years....IT IS GONE......what more can I say. It is due to leaky gut. I don't care what anyone has to say. I am over it. **** has a blood test and a program that took away my Fibro, Add, IBS, Anxiousness and more that I suffered from of which no physician, natural path or anyone else has ever able to help me get over. I cant figure out why no one gets this. My fibromyalgia and other problems have left and all I have to do to prove my point that this IS the problem is go back to eating the foods that came up as positive and my symptoms return within a few days. Go ahead and take a bunch of tests from your doctor or whoever and spend a bunch of money. You can take a million tests as I did and come up empty handed.....JUST AS I DID. Talk Talk Talk is all I see here but no one seems to have any REAL answers....WELL HERE YOU GO....MY FIBROMYALGIA IS GONE. NOW ITS YOUR CHOICE.....I'm done here!

I thought you were done. And their website says $249.99. Not $24.99. Decimal points make a big difference when it comes to laying out money.

PS...It's "sister" not "brother" in my case.

If there was a cure, we'd know it. And we'd be all over it. But so far there's not. Leaky gut is not something that's even been fully accepted by the medical community, it's a loose term that's used in the "alternative medicine" community. Don't get me wrong - I'm all for the least invasive or lowest chemically induced treatments and believe in being abl to try and balance our bodies.. But it's not a "cure" as you claim it. If it cured you, I'm willing to bet that you didn't actually have fibro and you were diagnosed by one of the not so educated doctors that uses fibro as a catch all for anything that they can't explain.

Personally I'm tired of watching everyone try to hawk their wares to people that are looking for a cure. If you were that genuinely interested in promoting something that can "cure" all of us a non-aggressive, non holier than thou, non arrogant attitude would probably have garnered a much better response from me and any others.

When I check your (company name removed) site the first thing that they promote themselves as is an herbal and natural weight loss system. Only as a secondary act do they promote their "treatments for these ailments." The minimum that they ask, for a pediatric food panel (mind you this is not for an adult) is $250 with it being on sale right now for $210. If you find it laughable that I am not willing to toss $350 for an adult 100 food panel (on sale for $310) out the window for something that has not been confirmed, then keep on laughing. Cause really, when you can come to me with some sort of legitimate testing and double blind studies...I'll start tossing that money. Till then, it's better spent on other items.

Okay, you said you were done and didn't follow though. Now, I'm going to say that I am done - and mean it. I'm not looking to turn this thread into a flame war.

 I am decimated. This forum has been my lifeline. It has been a place where I can go and ask questions and get the help I need to get through those days that are meant only to be survived, not lived. The Fibro Forum, as compared to many others I suscribe to here, has been more than beneficial. What is this thread all about? It sounds like the Christmas Dinners we used to have as a family where the crarving knife and serving utensils would bounce off the walls, along with the gravy boat. Sis would fly out the door and go up the mountain with no coat, stepmom would get dizzy and fall down the stairs, brother and Dad would get in a fistfight and as best I could, I'd go looking for a pound cake to take my sorrows away. Come on people. If someone has found something that helps them feel better, congratulations. However, every one of us is an individual struggling to function with a chronic disease. Some days are better than others. That's all I know.

I apologize for not making my editing clear. The individual who posted has apparently not read the forum rules and was being unkind to a regular because she didn't subscribe to their particular theory/product/latest scam. It's difficult to just remove the rude stuff so sometimes I have to take out an entire post and insert a rule.

I have left part of the posts in the hopes that this person will understand the general feel of our forum and perhaps learn to share in a more polite way. I have not asked Admin to ban them yet because I'm hoping for a more civilized give and take. The individual does not have a clear and informed grasp of the dynamics of fibromyalgia or its accompanying disorders. I also believe that there are some "selling" interests involved.

I am trying to give this person an opportunity to redeem herself.
