Wow! All these responses. Thank you all so much for sharing. It helps ease my mind a little bit. I had heard from others about
dizziness in the aforementioned stores and such, so I wasn't quite as concerned with that as I was with the exercise part of that (I had an especially bad episode of that today). I'm so glad that other peoples' minds are being put at ease also.
Instead of writing long individual responses, I hope shorter responses will do. It's getting very late .
Tootiebug- My blood pressure is normal, but low blood pressure upon standing has been mentioned by my neurologist as a possible factor. Thank you for the suggestion of drinking cold water to help.
Ginny- Your response was very reassuring. It is quite strange, isn't it? I'm glad we are not alone.
Sleepybug- Yes, I am very familiar with that feeling! I wonder if some of my dizziness isn't actual vertigo... This facet of Fibro is very new to me also.
Donnaeil- It's interesting that you mentioned that. I started Phys. Therapy (in a heated pool) just a couple of months ago. While I don't feel dizzy in the pool, I do feel terribly dizzy once I get out. Puzzling. I've stopped going for now. Sorry about your nausea. I've only experienced Fibro-related nausea a few times, and it's rough.
Greengrove- Thank you. You will be in mine as well. And I think you make a very good point. I'm sure those things play a part.
Statgeek- Yes, I do think I eat enough. Unfortunately, I don't think my dizziness is food related. :( But thank you for your suggestion.
Mrsppmrxky- I can definitely relate to what you say you are feeling. It rarely happens at home for myself as well.
I'm glad this post helped.
Schutzhund- Have you talked to your Dr about this dizziness with exercising? The few doctors I've said anything to are clueless, and I've never asked anything about the after-exercise specifically. Perhaps it does have a bit to do with our meds, but I am not currently taking too many things, so I'm not sure.
Thank you all again for your posts. I'm also very thankful that this thread has helped more than one person. It was such as pleasant relief/surprise to come home to several reassuring replies, especially after one of "those" days. We all know them well.
Have an amazing day.
