HI EVERYONE,

 

I WAS WONDERING IF ANYONE ELSE HAS THESE? OR MIGHT KNOW WHAT'S GOING ON? I KNOW I HAVE FIBRO, AND I HAVE ARTH ON MY KNEES, BUT WHAT IS ALL THIS OTHER STUFF?

 

1. PAIN IN MY SHINS (TIBIAS) IT HURTS REALLY BAD. cry

2. PAINS IN RIGHT BIG TOE?

 

3. CHEST PAINS, NOT LIKE ASTHMA OF HEAVINESS, BUT LIKE A SHARP PAIN NOT ALWAYS IN THE SAME PLACE.

 

CAN ANYONE SHED LIGHT OR HAS ANY OF THESE. THANKS SO MUCH!

Hi Diane and welcome. I don't have the shin pain or the toe pain but I do have the chest pain. Most of my fibro is from the waist up. Right now my whole chest is sore to the touch and the sternum is sore from one end to the other. I didn't know how my body was connected together til fibro. I put the Christmas tree up over the weekend and holding my arms out to do it all has my whole upper body sore. Even shoulder muscles can cause pain in the chest.

 

Get better.

Hi Diana and welcome-

I do get the shin pain and that is after I do a walk aroung a long block, or if I do a short jaunt into the grocery store or mall. You would think I had just run a marathon! Must be the fibro because I did not get that before. I do not get the chest pain nor toe pain. Maybe someone else here does.

THANK YOU FOR THE RESPONSES MARLEE & GAMJILL. IT IS SO GOOD TO KNOW I HAVE OTHER PEOPLE TO LISTEN AND CHAT WITH about MY ACHES AND PAINS AND I DON'T FEEL LIKE I'M NOT COMPLAINING blush . EVERYONE ELSE THINKS SINCE I DO WHAT I HAVE TO ON A DAILY BASIS I'M FEELING OK, BUT IN THE INSIDE I'M CRYING BECAUSE I HURT SO BAD AND I DON'T WANT TO SAY ANYTHING. THANK YOU FOR ALL YOUR SUPPORT!

Hi, Diana, and welcome!  I have had all that you listed.  The chest pain may be costochondritis.  Many with fibro have that too.  I did get my heart checked out to make sure it was fibro/costo and it was.

 

Be sure to read the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum.  There is a lot of good info in there that may help you.  Also, don't hesitate to ask questions.  That's why we are here.  We have a great group of people that have good ideas to help you live a full and enjoyable life with fibro.

 

I'm so glad you found us and joined in.  I hope to hear more from you soon.

I know what you mean Diane as long as we keep moving and manage to get from one day to the next without complaining everyone assumes we are okay. They don't have a clue what it takes some days to get there but we do. We keep on smiling and come here to vent.
