It has been a struggle to not smoke-you try living with your parents for 2 months without smoking like crazy
. But, I have done it...and that's not even the great part of this post.
I am 95% sure that I will have my own place in the next 3 weeks (or even less time than that). My mom has agreed to pay for an apartment until I get my disability approved (and even if it's not approved right away). That means I'll have my freedom back and I won't get yelled at or have to hear rude comments all the time. Obviously, my mom had to put her name down on the application, and this morning I got the call that we were approved and only have to pay a $99 deposit!
I am so happy, I could cry! I get my own computer back (I don't have to put up with Windows Vista anymore-sorry, but I hate it), and the best part is that I can finally have a pet again. I couldn't have one in the place I was in in CA. I've become so used to having Reese (my mom's cat) around, I kind of forgot what it was like to feel that unconditional love of an animal. BTW-I plan to adopt a kitty from the animal shelter, but it has to be the right one for me. So, I'm not gonna rush it.
Anyway, I just wanted everyone to know about
my big news. For those of you who have been through all of this with me (my waiting to move home, my move, living with my parents, the fights with my mom, etc) you know what a big deal this is for me. For once, I am a happy fibro girl. Well, I am today, anyway. smilewinkgrin
(Kelly...I edited your title and in the process screwed up the colors and who knows what else...ok dear!
I'm sorry...just wanted people to find your party post.)
