Hi, Purple, and welcome! It sure does sound like fibro but I'm glad you had the lab work done too. That is important since fibromyalgia mimics other illnesses.
I do not take any of the medications that you have been prescribed. I use ibuprofen with food, Tylenol, and malic acid/magnesium supplements for pain and fatigue. What works for one person doesn't necessarily work for another so sometimes it's a trial and error type thing. I know some members love Lyrica and others hate it so see how it works for you.
Be sure to check out the Fibro 101 thread...the second thread on the forum. There are links to some good info about fibro. You will learn a lot there.
Moist heat is great for fibro. A hot shower or a Bed Buddy placed on the painful areas feel so good. You can get Bed Buddies in Walgreen's and other places. Or, you could make your own! Take a tube sock, fill it 2/3's full of raw long grain rice and tie a knot on the end. Voila! a Bed Buddy! You pop that in the microwave and it gives off moist heat.
It's important to keep moving with fibromyalgia. If you sit or lay a lot, you will be stiff as a board. Walking is a great exercise and so is water exercise, if you have access to a pool. There are some good stretching exercises in the Fibro 101 thread too that you can do sitting down. I do a lot of stretching throughout the day.
Be sure to pace yourself, too. You can't do things in the same time frame as you did before fibro. If you try, you most likely will pay for it in pain. Everything does get done but not quite as quickly. You will pick the important things to do and let your family help, too.
Read back posts and ask questions. That's what we are here for! I'm so glad you found us and joined in. I do hope to hear more from you soon.
