Yesterday,I noticed a tingleing sensation on the bottom of my right foot.As the day wore on I would get these shooting pains across the bottom of my foot.The only thing I can liken it to is When I had a nerve conductivity test(you know,where they electrocute you legally) The same kind of pain,it would last a few seconds then just continue to hum.This one is new,this morning its seems to have quit...but,what is this mess?

I've noticed a tingling down the back of my left leg to myfoot but only lasts about a half hour or so.

Ooh, hmm Idk Wyld, I've gotten nasty shooting pains and tingling in my TOES a lot... but nothing ever in my foot quite like you described... well hopefully it was just a one night thing then, and it won't come back nono lol

I get shooting pain in my feet quite alot. I know exactly what you mean. Often it causes me to catch my breath and tense up. Sometimes it hurts so much I let out a yelp. My husband can tell you this happens frequently for me. I'm hoping that increasing the gabapentin will help with these shooters. For me, I've always put it down to nerve damage due to cervical cord compression which was severe prior to my surgery. Then I read about other fibro sufferers who experience this same thing. Either way, it does wear you down.

Hi Orchid,

Yup I can attest to those feelings. My toes tingle in a strange way often, not asleep but sorta that feeling. My feet kill me so much of the time, the nerve endings are "wyld". Don't forget this lovely condition is muscle and nerve!!!!

It's a new wrinkle everyday ain't it!!!!

Hi WyldOrchid ~

I am having the exact same thing going on in both of my feet!!! I just went to my doctor today and he suggested
new walking shoes and gave me, ugh, another pain med.

May I ask you what is "Goody Powders"??

Hey BooBoo and welcome!My nickname around the family is Boo (I've been The Boo for 14 yrs) so I love your name!Pain meds,you lucky dog! I'd sell off my favorite H.I.M album for a script of tylenol 3.My docs will give me nothing of the sort(thats a whole other kettle of worms) Goody powders are tylenol,asprin,and caffine.
