Hmm, you've tried prunes? I always had a serious problem with constipation, for as long as I can remember, and prune juice ALWAYS helped it.
How much fruit do you usually eat? I've heard that pears, oranges, and grapes work best for constipation... I eat so much fruit now in my daily diet from being a vegetarian that I don't have problems often anymore with constipation.
I've also heard spinach helps too!!

Food should be properly chewed. Hurried meals and meals at odd times should be avoided. Sugar and sugary foods should be strictly avoided. Foods which constipate are all products made of white flour, rice, bread, pulses, cakes, pastries, biscuits, cheese, fleshy foods, preserves, white sugar, and hard-boiled eggs.
