Intense Burning Sensations in my Back

I've had these burning sensations in my back and across various parts of my body for days. I went the physcial therapy and saw the Chiropractor. He adjusted me and I felt good for most of the day. Tonight I am hurting pretty badly. The pain gets worse when I sit for a long period of time. I wrote a paper for school today and that may have set it off. I took a clonazepam about an hour ago. I hope it kicks in soon. At least the GERD has calmed down. I feel like my body is on fire and I'm weak!

I agree with Karen, if it continues you should see a Dr. ASAP

i get this, too, but in my legs and hips instead of my back. for me, it's a sign that i'm slipping into flare mode. in fact, i started feeling the burn yesterday and today-ugh! everything hurts and i feel all flu-like (hot/cold/hot/coldetc), which are all flare-signs for me. my burning pain gets worse if i sit a long time, too, so when i'm feeling like this i try to make sure to get up at least once every hour and do some light stretching. that seems to help some, as does hot baths and my bed buddy.

i don't take any prescription meds at all so i'm sorry i can't help you there, but i did want to tell you that i know the pain of this and do hope you get to feeling better soon!

When I first got fibro I had intense burining down my neck and spine , shoulders and upper arms , the burning was so intenste it was indescribable, im on meds now so not so bad, im glad that at least you have clonzepam.  All you can do is have something for pain and something for sleep.  Good luck    sue2z
