Hello to our friends in Australia- we hope that you are doing okay in the record heat that you are having. I have family there and they report heat in the 118-125F range. I pray that you all are able to be inside with cooler air. I also pray that you are not having to deal with floods or fire. There are too many disasters happening in AU and you are in our prayers. If any of you have the opportunity, we would love to hear from you and know how you are doing. If any of you are being impacted by any of these horrible situations, I hope you are not flaring or having any health crises during these emergencies. You are all in our prayers and we hope to hear from you soon.

I've been praying for our Australian friends and hope all are safe.  There has been a tremendous loss of life and property and they think that it may have been set by arsonists!  How horrible.  We have had that here in the US as well.  But, stay safe and listen to  any warnings and get to safety.

i just read that this morning about possible arson, sherrine. i just can't believe that! it's just so awful to think someone would have done this on purpose. if that is what has happened, i do hope they catch the person (or persons) and prosecute them to the fullest extent.

Here is a post I sent to the Crohns Forum. I am trying to identify all our Aussie members so we can keep them utmost on our minds and in our hearts. My husband is Australian and we have lots of family there- his and mine from Healing well :) and when anything bad happens here, they are always right here for us. Ivy6 is keeping everyone posted on the Crohns forum and the news continues to grow worse. The reported death toll is getting close to 200 and reports the number of destroyed homes around 800. This is going to require lots of prayer.

I live in west australia, every year they have fires over east but never like this, and to have major flooding in the next state is incredable, they are still expecting another down fall over the flooded region in a day or two.  Our weather gets very hot here but although we get the fires in W.A they are no where near as bad,  I think at one time they were fighting 40 separate fires over there. The weather has noticeabley changed over here since I was a girl, used to be cold when got easter eggs , now we put them in the fridge so they dont melt.  Im 40 now .         sue2z

I am keeping all of the Aussies in my prayers.  Everyday, the news gets worse and worse.  They are still saying (in Canada anyway) that it is the largest Arson fire in Australian history.

It's the largest fire in our written history, arson or not. It's the largest natural disaster too.
