Had a bad weekend and it still continues!!!

My weekend started off with me waking up Sat. morning with severe breast pain. Then yesterday I fell on the ice. Today I am in terrible pain and I am starting to come down with a cold. AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAHHHHHHHHHHH. Will it ever end? Still having the breast pain, not sure if it is hormones or if I should be concerned.

I hope that you are feeling better!!!    I know ALL about the breast pain.  I was diagnost with fibrocystic breast disease about 6 years ago... let me tell you, the two weeks before my period are HORRIBLE, especially if I am under ANY kind of stress.  Typically breast pain is not a huge thing to worry about, it is usually caused by hormone changes.  I would have to agree with Austen and say that if it continues then you should get it checked out.  I know when I first got diagnost I went MONTHS with the severe pain.  I was only 26 years old, and scared... I actually switched doctors at the time (from a dr that had been my md since I was a child) because he refused to send me for a mamagram.  I understand your concerns, and hopefully it is just stress.

I've got fibrocystic breast disease also and I have a lot of pain and tenderness with my monthly hormone changes. Warm heat does help a bit (I usually turn the shower on as hot as I can stand it and stand beneath it for as long as I can) but I haven't really found much else that helps unfortunately. If you are really concerned about this, please talk to your Dr. but it's probably nothing to worry about. I had a Dr. tell me years ago that breast pain is usually better than lumps without pain-the dangerous kinds of lumps tend not to hurt at all.

Glad to hear that the pain is not too bad from the fall- it's dangerous out there! You should see me when I go down the driveway to go get the mail, I do baby steps all the way down, usually hit a couple icy spots and slip a couple times- and of course make little sound effects when I do the slipping and then the same story coming back up.

I hope all is well....I know how scary the lumps are.  I had to have one removed last year as well.  It is especially hard to keep track of them with the fibro cystic breast disease, because every month you have lumps.  My grandmother had breast cancer so I am very anal about checking though.   You are in my thoughts... please let us know how everything turns out!!!!
