I have such a great boss, he is a aware of my fibro and knows that when I need to take off I do. Right now I can barley keep my eyes awake so I'm leaving today at 3. It just can't come soon enough

Yeah, my boss is great too! I always feel a little guilty when I call in sick or leave early and all the many breaks as I do, but I know I couldn't do this anywhere else I've ever worked.

When I accomplish a full time work week, I pat myself on the back. That's my goal, just making it through the week.

One day at time........... :-)

LOL... I used to BE the boss, and I tried REALLY hard to be a good one. I thought, what would I want in a boss and tried to be that!
Glad you have some great bosses.. Now that I'm looking for a job again I hope I can find one just like yours!!

You are so fortunate to have an understanding boss. You must be quite an asset to the business. I hope he continues to be understanding towards your fibromyalgia. Many bosses wouldn't.

My boss is usually quite good, but he seems to be dealing with me being ill even worse than I am.  I am going through some nightmares at the moment and have yet to be diagnosed (I have a rheumy appointment next week, ANA positive, dreadful pins and needles and chronic fatigue), it's making me incredibly tired and quite emotional, but what's even worse is the lack of understanding from my boss.  He's dwelling on what I think are the minutiae which aren't important and it's driving me insane.  I had to go home ill last Friday and ended up having a blazing row with him over nothing.
