Pinksilly, Welcome to the forum. This is a very wonderful group & you will grow to love them as I do. Walking may be more beneficial once you get your sleep schedule in place. No sleep equals more pain. I take a muscle relaxant too but it is not enough so I also take Melatonin 5mg, sublingually. That give me the added sleepiness so I can go to bed & go to sleep then the muscle relaxant helps me stay asleep.
Read all you can because that is how you will find what will work for you. Yes, you definitely need a Doctor who is on board, who is there to help you & to bounce things off of & who knows about Fibro. It is so nice to meet you, sorry it has to be because of this illness but you have found the best place to be with this illness. Hugs, Denise
